ariston advantage aib 16 washing machine

my washing machine reaches the spin cycle of of the programme and just sits there until a fault code of f 05 comes up the motor for pumping the water out is still running but the drum does not spin. not got the instruction manual anymore so i can,t find out what the fault code means.
any ideas
