Hi Folks, I'm a 1st time poster so be gentle with me........
I've got an Ariston euro-combi (A21 or 23) which has just packed in. It refuses to ignite. Started playing up about 18months ago and I had a guy come out to have a look and he said it could be either the PCB or the gas valve. At the time I was able to re-light it with the the ignition button (after MANY attempts) but now it is completely kapput. When I press the ignition button it tries to light for 7 seconds and you can see the sparks through the viewing window so surely the PCB isnt faulty???
Nothing has been disturbed or added to the system in the 4 years its been there.
Can anyone with experience of these boilers give me an idea if it is more likely to be the PCB or gas valve before I pay for one only to find it was the other?
Cheers, Andy
