We have had the above boiler for a while now , a couple of years ago the timer dial became faulty so as the boiler was in the garage we had a Salus wireless room stat added to the system . Up to now this has worked fine but we started to notice the heating coming on during the summer so I switched the heating side on and presumed the stat was faulty or low on batterys , when the time came I put the heating back on and it continued to come on even when the stat was set otherwise , I replaced the stat as I wanted to upgrade to a programmable version anyway but I did not replace the receiver as the old one seems compatible . Anyway the problem still exists and the heating is over riding the stat and coming on when not wanted , any theorys Please .
