Hi,
I have just found the Google Flight Simulator and I am astounded by it. I have 'google flown' all over the world and I am amazed as to the accuracy and detail of some of the locations.
My problem is that my Arrow Keys which are used for Aileron and elevator controls are so sensitive that it make flying control difficult. Other friends who fly Google do not have the same sensitivity problem.
I have looked for sensitivity settings for these keys even assuming they may be related to 'Mouse' sensitivity which they appear not to be, but I can't find any appropriate settings. There may be some way of desensitising these keys from external sources, for instance I have a web link which will disable the Caps Lock Key and make it a shift key, and for 'Numpty' typists such as myself this disabling is a godsend.
Anyone know how to desensitise the arrow keys?

Try the following.......Press start/control panel/keyboard.
From there you can adjust you key delay and repeat rate, adjust to suit.
This will affect all your keystrokes, you will have to play around to see what suits.

You will be much happier if you get a Joystick (USB plug).

I have a chum invalided out of the RAF who uses flight sims a lot.

better ones have stall-warning vibrate, throttle levers and other features. You can get flap pedals too.

Hi Trazor,
Tried that and it didn't seem to make a great difference. The control I have is so sensitive as to make it almost impossible to control, but on a friends computer there is no problem. The delay and repeat settings onhis are identical to mine. Have you any other possibilities, I am at a loss.
HI johnD.
I am not so sure the feedback required to vibrate a Joystick would be available on GOOGLE Flight Simulator. It is fantastic even with out this,
Have a go I can't stop flying - it's driving my wife mad.
