Hi All
This has probably been asked before but I've tried searching and have had no joy.
After having some building work done earlier in the year my garden was dug up and hardcore laid and type 1 over the top this was compacted with a wacker plate. This was a few months or so ago now and my dogs have been out running disturbing the top of the surface to where I have a few low spots n holes now. Now I have Artificial grass coming now and will be here soon so plan to lay sharp sand over the top of the base that was compacted previous. The level of the surface only needs to be raised around 10/20mm to level it all. Will this sharp sand need to be wacker plated again or will tamping down with timber be ok for this before laying the Artificial grass over the top?
