Artificial Grass Problem?

Yesterday I had artificial grass installed in my back garden and it all looked perfect (apart from the grass being flattened due to it being rolled for a number of weeks prior to delivery).

Over night it rained quite a bit and was windy and today I have noticed a few patches of sand in lumps that makes the grass look like there are certain areas that grass is missing....

How I can solve this problem?
Also what is recommended to get the grass up right again?

The grass probably has a sand infill to keep the pile up. It is usually kiln dried sand brushed and spread in with a coarse stiff broom. Kiln dried sand is very fine and artifically dried so picks up moisture very quickly and has a tendancy to clump together.

What your seeing is probably the excess sand that has gathered into lumps. Brush it hard with a stiff broom to break it up and spread it around. This will work better when its dry but wont do it any harm when wet.

Thank you for your reply. I bought a new stiff bristle broom yesterday and attempted to broom the clumps but had no success...

I had a little more success by using my handing and rubbing the sand around though. ...

There may be too much sand? its hard to know without seeing it in the flesh.
