asbestos flue

Hi, how much does it cost for a plumber to take out an flue, and dispose of it?.
or would it be better to diy it, and dispose of it, at asbestos local County Council Waste & recyling?

don't know about cost of someone else removing it as did mine myself with precautions. flue consisted of 3X6 foot lengths of 4" diam plus same lengths of D shaped cover. before removal i thoroughly soaked it with hosepipe and then removed the sections whole making sure i didn't break it and then double wrapped it in heavy duty polythene and taped it all up before taking to council tip. used a mask, old boiler suit and gloves throughout. cost me about a tenner for sheeting.
