I have some old corregated roofing material in my garden that looks like asbestos but Ive been told that it could also be a type of fibrous cement material. Is there a simple test for asbestos? No quips about sniffing it and waiting 20 years
There's a very good chance that the roofing sheets are cemented asbestos - corrugated asbestolux maybe.
If its wet - which it surely will be - it breaks up dead easy without any dust and then can be disposed of......your local recycling centre can probably help you but its surprising how much gets dumped in black bin bags
Mention asbestos removal to any of the waste disposal people and be prepared to sell a kidney!
