My garage is converted into an office. It has a corrugated asbestos roof. I understand thats OK as long as I dont drill into it etc. Is that right? Im putting up a false ceiling and wont actually touch the asbestos in any way. One of the disadvantages of the roof is that when weather is hot, the room gets unbearably hot. When I put the false ceiling up I was thinking of covering the upside in foil to reflect the heat. Would this work or is it a waste of time? Or does anyone have any other suggestions.
