Hello. I hope I do this right. I just had a new roof installed with architectural type asphalt shingles. I have issues with several spots on the house where the shingles are not or nowhere near flush with the gutters which in effect leaves a gap up to about 1.5" The contractor says he'll check with the roofers but he's 90% certain the shingles will flatten out as the weather gets warmer (I live in north central Georgia so it wil get hot). I'll try to attach a picture or two. Anyway, do you think these shingles will flatten out as the weather gets hotter. If not, can anything be done? They've been on the house a couple of weeks now but the weather hasn't gotten real warm yet. Thanks. Steve

yes i see what you mean. the roof's quite steep, and in a heavy georgia storm the rainwater may over shoot the guttering.

i guess, that southern "red neck" sun and some gravity will help to "wilt" the shingles over time, but, i'm afraid, our experience of shingles in the uk is limited.
sorry only time will tell.
