attempting a small plastering job

Recently had a leak which caused a damp patch on wall, its now dried out and I want to fix it up. Took the old wallpaper off and some plaster came away a circular patch about 12 inches in circumference. There seems to be another layer of plaster below which is sound.

What is the best remedy for this (plan to recover in wallpaper so it doesn't need to be perfect).
