while driving had a loss of power could only get 50 mph out of it, turned off engine re stared it and it was back to normal.. was told today that it might b the turbo playing up..... any ideas if any other causes could b the problem...cheers

Sounds like an intermittand engine managment fault, when the fault occured the ECU went into limp/emergency mode and shut down the turbo and limited engine rev`s, switching the ignition off/on will have cleared the stored temp code and all will be well until the fault re occurs, get it checked out with a fault code reader
