Hi
Worcester 240 gas boiler but question below applies to any boiler.
The Auto Air Vent located inside the boiler casing close to the combustion chamber ... does it have to be all metal construction (all metal inside and outside)?
Reason I ask is that the vent I have been sold has a plastic piece sticking out ( where the dust cap unscrews) so i guess the bits inside will be plastic also (the outside is all bronze).
Is the air vent correct / okay with plastic parts located within the boiler casing close to the combustion chamber?
Many Thanks
GraHal
