We are thinking about having around 55m2 of porcelain paving laid outside. the area that it will be laid upon is around 50% flagged and 50% turfed currently.
I have managed to source the porcelain tiles myself for around £1,750 to cover 60m2 (just incase of any breakages).
I just wanted to gauge any rough pricing (per sqm) I would be looking at for what I assume would be:
Excavating/digging 150mm below ground
Hardcore Sub-base (type 1)
Mortar bed
Slurry Primer layer (to adhere onto the porcelain tile)
1 Manhole cover to either work around or tile above
(no steps, everything on 1 level/height)
I know prices vary by area hence why i mentioned that I was in the Manchester area. Also if i have missed out any important steps above would appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance
