So i see the pledge of what a minimum wage of 10.50... all very good until you realise everything becomes sky high expensive. Pop over to Switzerland and youll see what i mean, even a burger King there is a ring stinger price due to the staff costs.

Much as i really really disliked in the strongest possible manner George Osborne and came to dislike Hammond, the latter especially assumed the stature and typical chancellor mantra and posture.
Avid JAvid just behaves like he's dropped a few too many slimming pills in his morning breakfast or the eyebrow lift just doesn't suit him, he just looks/feels a bit out of his depth at the moment. I guess the teacup storm isn't helping.

Unbiased adult opinions preferred please ;)

A mate of mine told me Denmark and Sweden is much much worse than Switzerland -apparently there is much smaller difference between the bottom and top jobs.

He told me that in Denmark, a doctor or consultant may only a few times more than a waitress

I should say 'worse' is probably not the correct adjective -but rather they those countries have a much different approach to inequality, in general a low level of inequality must be a positive goal, provided it doesnt stifle ambition and innovation.

Average gp pay in Denmark is E104,000; or about £92k. Can I top up your coffee Sir? (About £13 if it takes an hour)

So if a GP earned (say) four times as much as a FTE waitress, that would put her on £23k. Though I image many waitresses work less hours than a GP so might be a percentage ofthat.

It doesn't sound impossible to me.

Does it sound impossible to you?

Denmark and Sweden ...... -apparently there is much smaller difference between the bottom and top jobs.
Is that why certain people have made a bee-line to those countries? :cautious:

And why are those people in the new ghettos resorting to so much crime and fire-bombing if they could just get an easy job serving meatballs in Ikea or putting the tops on bottles of Carlsberg?
