This is the side of my house. Having abit of work done with resin at the moment. After it's been poured and it has set id need to make a side-gate.
The only support that I have on the right side would basically be the concrete fence posts me and my neighbour share. Which isn't a problem but moreso the height, as they are only 1.5m in height, meaning technically most people can just look over the gate (not that there's anything to actually see).
my thing is moreso that the gate would look wider than it is taller, when most gates are the opposite.
I also have 2 options whether to fix the framing to either the chimney stack which makes it a little less wide or the house itself (measurements shown in pic)
With both options I feel like I'd still have to have 2 doors (open from the middle) and not just 1 door because I feel that would just look abit too big and also stability-wise it may be too heavy. Something like this :
But problem with this type of door also is that I wouldn't want to drill a hole into the ground for the bottom latch because it would be resin.
Any better/further ideas I could think of? Thanks in advance for any advice
