Hello Everyone,

I need to replace the double glazed unit in one of my awning windows, as the seal has broken and the glass has become stained on the inside.

How can I remove the window from the frame, so I can extract the actual window pane measure the exact size for a replacement? It looks like bolted, rather than any screws, which can be opened with a philips or allen wrench...

The inside also shows 88 /TIGER GLX 01 470 8182. Could this be the size? 470mm * 818.2mm?

Thanks for any pointers.

It's an aluminium window, it's externally glazed so all done from outside, to remove the glass first flick out the black gasket on the inside which then loosens the glass within the frame, then from outside on ladders using some sort of scraper remove the 2 side beads first and then the top one last, you can leave the bottom one in, lean the glass out at the top and lift out and pass through the window to someone on the inside, the fitting is the reverse of that

Thanks. Was hoping I could somehow do this all somehow from the inside and just order a frame online. Not a big fan of caring a large glas panel on a ladder there, it's higher than it looks. Will therefore probably ask for some professional help on this one, if not ridiculously expensive.
