Can anyone help? Back back boiler with prismatic cylinder, pumped on the return line.1st radiator (downstairs) in line roasting, then pipe goes into wall plastered over to upstairs rads, all cool.tried draining re installing bubble, bleeding, tried turning off 1st radiator and running no joy.I'm told there may be antigravity non return valve in line but today ripped wall paper off to expose piping next to boiler no valve could they have put this literally in the wall?I know this is an old system but finances a bit thin! Any ideas or decent plumbers in the Bristol area with a good knowledge of these older systems? BG just want to replace whole system

Is the hot water in the primatic cylinder heating up ?

TrY draining down completely with all air vents open then putting a hose on the drain off cock on the lowest rad then fill the system from the bottom up and releasing the air all the way up all fun with a prismatic system.Bob

Had very rad in the house off yesterday and flushed them thru, cleaned and blew thru pipes as best as poss, refilled system slowly, and bled all rads and got water in all, turned heating on with pump on slow speed, exactly the same!!!!!!1st rad hot others cold beginning to think the pipe that's plastered into the Wall has a gravity valve in! Does anyone know if all these systems have these as I've looked everywhere and can only think it's on this 15mm pipe that goes into the wall, any help would be apptecoatrdy
