"Back to wall" toilets and flush/waste pipes

Now I've probably missed the obvious here. Bought a back to wall type toilet with a nice cupboard for behind and a concealed cistern.

BUT, of course, both the flush pipe and the waste pipe need a gap into the cupboard. Cupboard has got a removable panel on the front but I can't see how this works without cutting shape into panel?

Stand the pan against the cupboard -draw round it lightly in pencil - remove pan and you can cut out anything to within . say 25mm of the line - as long as you don't cut out any framing pieces of wood;)

Yes, I guess thats the only way. I just found it strange that they sell you this nice posh cupboard that you've got to cut anyway....
