can anyone help .whats the best way to skim over bonding .when its dry pva and skim or after an hour or two so its not dryed out completely.have got a large area to do and wanted to bond one day and skim the next.
Right if your going to have a go here is what to do. Get the wall bonded out and levelled up, when it picks up a bit devil it, then leave to go firm. You can then skim over it with out pva or wetting it. Or if you are going to leave it till the next day you then you can either wet it down till it takes no more water and then skim or you can put a strong coat of unibond (pva) over it with a roller, let that sink in then put another coat over it then mix your skim up and then roller another coat and then skim it. You could put a bit of skim on it and see if it dries quick or it holds back, if it holds back a while then its ok to skim it.....Good Luck now get on with it
