Bad smell from Saniflo

Hi everyone
We had a saniflo toilet installed in a loft conversion that was built last year. Ever since then, there has been a very stale smell in the air and at first I just put it down to all the building work and that the loft needed to 'settle' for a while.....but it's now 7 months on and the smell is getting worse. It appears to be coming from the saniflo but we can't be absolutely sure,....

Has anyone else had similar problems and if so, how did you solve it?

Any advice much appreciated.

You should not get any type of smell. It's just possible that the pipe from the unit has a small leak. Check around any joints that you can get at. In fact, check all the pipes, from and to taps and the loo.
