Hi ,I'm new here so please bear with me, does anyone know the correct mixing ratio for a bagging coat I.e pva , plasticiser , cement, sand , and can it be applied straight on to a soft red brick the painted with masonry paint cheers

Bagging has a different meaning round here but i think you mean what i would call a very tight scratch coat.
PVA is not used on exterior work. SBR (google it) is the thing to use as a bonding agent.
What you intend as a final coat? Do you intend to use S&L or C, or a synthetic?
