BAL flexible adhesive - still seems a bit soft after 24hrs?

I have laid a floor using BAL single part flexible adhesive. The packet say groutable after 16hrs so I presume it means they can be walked on after 16hrs.

I finsihed the floor off today but after looking at parts that I finshed yesterday, where the adhesive had oozed a little at the edges it is still quite soft.

Is this normal for a flexible adhesive? I've only ever used thinset before. Or is it more likely because it's a blob/thick?

What do others advise on time left before walking/grouting?

If you've followed the instructions, just get it grouted.

If you can, leave a little longer to allow the adhesive to dry out by leaving the grout out so air can get in for dryness
