I take it you mean can a RGI fit a balanced flue fire etc.
As long as the flue can be obtained long enough and all other flue clearances are available then yes. Obviously your RGI will confirm this when you get the quote.
The wall at a chimney breast can be quite a bit thicker than a normal wall.Seeing as a BF appliance has to terminate outside it would have to be quite a bit longer than a standard flue for a cavity wall.
