Just had a new complete system installed and now have a few questions and observations.
Baxi duo-tec 28 HE A, 2 bed maisonette with 6 rads / 5 TRV's. CM 927 programmer.
The installation was a nightmare for both me and the installers. Asbestos suspected in the
ceilings, gas supply pressure inadequate, Earthing problems with the mains and difficulties with the pipe runs, any way it's all done now however the original estimate of 2 men for 2 days ended up with 6 men for 2 days then some more. The point being that I believe the system was rushed in the end and probably not balanced very well if at all.
I would like to balance it myself but can't find a procedure for a condensing combi.
Can anybody help please.
On the commissioning paperwork they have put flow and return values as 84 C and 72 C, would this be the measurement at max temp?
What sort of temp difference should I be looking to achieve from the rad pipe ends?
What return temperature should I be looking for to achieve condensing mode at the boiler?
Does the boiler still condense when modulated down?
Since installation I have now found out there is an optional weather compensator, it's only £38 and easy to fit, I have ordered one. Why this is not standard I do not know.
Thanks in anticipation for your help
