Hi

Once again I have to attempt to balance the rads in my house due to rapid cooling of the rads. This time I've bought a thermometer so that I can actually measure the drop across the rads.

The problem I have is identifying what sequence the rads run in. It seems that the ground and first floor flow has been split across the two floors so one flow runs to heat the upstairs and the other runs downstairs.

Which rads should I balance first? Does it really matter if I'm working off real temps if I just follow the sequence of each 'zone'?

Yes, seen that cheers but doesn't help my problem if I don't have the rads warming up sequentially but as in my case the upstairs 'zone' is sharing the main flow as the downstairs so two rads are warming up at the same time in effect.

Find out which branch has the most rads. Let's call this branch A and the other one branch B.

Do them in this order: A1, B1, A2, B2 etc
