Bamboo

Just wondering, is there much money in bamboo plants?
Ive got a huge plant in my back garden (probably around 50-80 shoots, around 2m squared ground cover) over 8ft tall, with new shoots sprouting all the time.

Is it worth getting in touch with a local gardener for them to pot some, and sell it to there customers etc, or is there no real point (eg more effort than money)
