Since several months whenever I flush a specific toilet on the second floor there is a huge banging noise (just once) in the pipes. This does not happen when I flush the other toilet on the same floor or the toilet on first floor.
I have heard about water hammer, but usually a water hammer is associated with shutting off water flow too quickly. Am I having a reverse water hammer?
But more importantly, how can I fix this annoyance? I have replaced the whole tiolet flusshing system, but banging sound has remained the same. Ant suggestions?
