BANGING PIPES

i recently had a leak on one of my pipes fixed the leak with a new peice of pipe but now i have a banging pipe .its on the pipe that comes into the house [supply] tried bleeding the rads but still there any help would be apprieciated thanks

try turning the stop tap down a bit, replace any clips you took of the pipework you repaired.

thanks tried turning down the supply still get baging but not as loud replaced all the clips when i did the job .
is it air in the pipes or should i try more clips

When do you get the banging? What is supplied directly by this pipe?

Bleeding your rads won't affect the mains supply pipe!
