We have a loud single banging noise, which happens regularly. about every 60 seconds - although sometimes less frequently. appears particularly loud during night.

We have fitted pressure reducing valves, turned boiler off, turned off external water supply and drained all taps. the banging continues. we have had the water board out to check if there are any faults in the external pipework and there are not

Now baffled. Any advice gratefully recieved.
