haveing looked at the time i have (or dont have) i have decided to get a loft conversion firm in to do a structeral loft conversion (steals stairs floor joists). with the remander of the work being completed by my self (very kean but limited experance in any thing but palstering and decorating) and my dad (a builder with 50+ years experance) my dads all for doing it ourselfs while home at weekends but i could do with it going a bit faster than that to start with. my loft is 18ft wide and the room will be about 10ft by 15ft with a velux window. any one got any iders on costs ?
basic loft conversion costs ? steals stairs and floor.

I have estimated £4k for a 10ft square dormer over estimated materials but we shall see once i start
