I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to help me with my bathroom waste issues?

The problem;

Currently when i empty a full basin of water in my bathroom, the waste in the bath fills up and stays there for a good while. Also when taking showers and baths the bath waste does not empty very quickly at all. Regular use of Drain Block Remover seems to keep on top of the problem but i want a more permanent fix. I know as the pipes stand now the bath and basin wastes join before reaching the stack. Is this normal?

As far as i am aware i have standard UK fittings. Although it does look like the drop on the bath waste is very minimal, the floor has been opened to allow the u bend to fit.

First timer so please forgive any errors i might have. I did try to see if any post of a similar issue had been done already but couldn't find one. The wiki didn't help either. Sorry if this has been done to death.

Cheers for any help given.

sounds like a restriction/blockage in the pipework after the basin/bath but before soil pipe.
and very little fall on pipework won't help

Thanks guys. I will give that stuff a go and see what happens. I assume that stuff would be more effective than the supermarket products i have been using already?
