I have got to the point in our new en-suite of connecting the two vanity basins. These units have drawers so very little room for a trap without having to cut through the drawers at the back.
I have seen shallow basin traps but the outlet from that would be too high to connect to the pipework. It couldn't be any higher due to the structure of the unit being compromised.
What I thought would be the solution is a connector which screws onto the basin waste and then have a P trap behind the drawers and then a 90 degree connector into the pipework, is this feasible? I haven't seen any connectors which screw onto the basin waste apart from fitted to traps.
I would be grateful for any advice.
