is it possible to buy these from sumwhere??? Have tried plumbers merchants with no success.
If not, what other ways can i fix bath to wall without risk of damaging when in use?

Is it poss 2 fix a pice of 2x2 to underneath the rim and fix with "L" brackets if so what do i use??? silicone or adhesive???

all comments suggestions gr8tly app'd

I haven't seen a type without a wooden rail under the rim so without seeing it I would say that its a knacker.
If you are really desperate to do something with it apart from growing flowers in it then you could try as you say using gripfill or similar [there's one called sticks like sh*t made by evo-stick I think:LOL: ] to stick some rails to it and just flatten some copper pipes or buy angle brackets [B&Q or other hardware shop] to make the wall fixing. Also never forget the power of silicone. I could show you several items of sanitary ware that would have a serious attack of gravity if it wasnt for the numerous tubes of silicone that are holding them up.

sorted...

put a lentgh of 3x2 along the rim of the bath and fixed with instant grab gripfill... supplemented by 3 screws and washers thru the rim of the bath... predrilled holes... then fixed bath to wall using long "l" brackets... well frame cramps 2 b precise....
sum baths have metal frames running a round the perimeter and these fix to clips.... which is ok if the bath aint ex display and the retailer doesnt fail to supply em..

thanks anyways

Glad you sussed it> I cant believe I never mentioned the 3x2 on the wall thing cos thats what I sometimes do with corner baths. Mind you it was 3.32 am when I made the post so I can only assume its because I was ready to crawl into my coffin.
