Bath tap direction of turn to operate

A new bath mixer thermostatic shower has been fitted. The only problem is the taps work in opposite directions. Clockwise on one Anticlockwise on the other to close or open. Is this normal. Gina

Thats probably Italian or Spanish manufacturers for you, strange ideas occasionally.......nowt wrong with it if it works.

our sink mixer tap works like that.

If they are quater turn then thats quite usual.
