Hi,

I have one of these on my bath. The popup mechanism of the waste has snapped so needs to be replaced.

Do these tend to all have standard fittings, for me to connect the existing overflow pipe to a new one, or does the whole thing need to be replaced?

Thanks

Is that physically easy? I say that as my overflow is wall side, and in the middle of the bath!!

Oh dear !! Unless you can get access from the other side of the wall ,it's probably a bath out job. What operates the plug ,is it the type that you use a knob which is part of the overflow ?
If so the cable goes from the overflow down to the waste fitting /plug hole.

Well you won't make that mistake again.

Sorry.

The fitter should have known better.

Buy a rubber plug. They never go wrong.

Does the front panel come off? If yes, then it can be done.

Andy

Yes - I made up my own actually to paint in the same as the walls; only the bottom bit is tiled to give a skirting effect (same as all the way around the room)

Post a picture looking at the bath panel, standing back so that we can see the whole bath.

How would the overflow pipe connect to those ?
Terry,
Only every fitted one or two, but I though some had a side entrance for the (existing) overflow pipe to push/screw into.
And screw thread below for the U bend.

Not recomending this one over others, but I think this is showing what I was suggesting (ie keeping overflow/filler in place and replacing only the waste. .
