Yes, whichever one you choose you need one with a bit of oomph, even for a short length of extraction.
Note - my kitchen hob hood extractor has a fitting that changes from a round hole to an oblong hole whilst changing direction by 90 degrees,.
both of these features on their own add friction before it get to the wall, so that`s before you get outside and the vent flaps etc.
In my case the extractor does a decent job anyway, I did calc the area of the hole compared to the oblong and it was quite a difference too.
