Bathroom earth bonding wire size

I have been given conflicting information for the size of the earth wire to earth pipe work in my bathroom.

Can someone tell me what size I need?

minimum 2.5mm2 if protected

minimum 4.0mm2 if unprotected

In practice, everyone uses min 4.0mm2, but nothing wrong in using larger (although it is clumsy).

Thanks for that, I have some 6 mm2 so i'll use that.
