Can anyone help. Sometime ago now I noticed a very bad sewerage type smell which seems to come from under the bath. On inspection it appears that the bath drain pipe has been leaking onto the floor boards for some time however the smell seems to come and go. I do not belive there is a problem with the plumbing as I had a plumber fit a new trap etc. Is it possible that this smell can still be coming from the floorboards or joists underneath over a month afterwards? Someone says you can by a neutralising agent to spray the floorboards with anyone know what it is?
