We have a three storey house and are thinking of installing a bathroom (shower, WC, wash basin) in one of the rooms on the top floor.

Because the room in question is on the opposite side of the house to the soil stack I quess we would need a macerator so that the waste could be run under the floorboards via a small bore tube and out to the stack.

What would be needed in order to get hot and cold water to the bathroom suite? The cold water tank is on floor level of the top storey and the hot water tank is on the floor below (gravity fed).

Thanks

You'll either have to pump your hot water or look at an unvented cylinder or use a combi whichever is most appropriate....

In many cases, proper prior planning can remove the need for a macerator... they are noisy and it can be a real sh1t job to unclog them
