Bathroom mirror cabinet with lights

Does anyone know more than me about this please.
Bought this 300 pound cabinet second hand for a 100 pounds. It’s a Victorian plumbing cabinet. Now it’s been up about 4/5 weeks and the power light has always been white. Now I get up in night come into the bathroom and it’s now changed to blue and it occasionally flickers through it like a bad connection. When I turn it on it is white as it always has been and all the side lights work as well. So taken the panel off and thought it will prob be the led transformer or loose connection. Tested a solid 12v dc supply out of that and it’s all working except this issue. Cut off all the crimp connections remade them all and all into wagos to be certain of that. So only leaves me to think the touch sensor board must have leds built in and is faulty but no idea how to split the door open at present. Think this could be a hazard left like this? It’s only low voltage.

That which you seem to be saying is that
the "Light adjusting touch switch"
(as it is described in https://www.victorianplumbing.co.uk...nti-fog-dimmer-touch-sensor-and-shaver-socket )
used to glow "White"
but
now glows "Blue", when the side lights are not turned ON - and occasionally "flickers".

However, it does glow "White" when the side lights are turned ON.

Without further knowledge of this product, or knowledge from anyone who has this or a related product,
one can only guess that this may be the way the that the "Light adjusting touch switch" is designed to "light up"
("Blue" when not in operation and "White" when in operation.)

(Perhaps you did not notice this previously ?!?!)

In any case, as long as everything else keeps working, I suggest that you cease worrying about it.
I doubt that it could be a "hazard" in any way.

you have "modified" it.

One may wonder why it was sold (second hand) at such a reduced price.

You are correct and definitely never shone blue until a couple of nights ago was always white I have looked at the wiring diagram and it looks like it is leds built into the switch board so can’t even disconnect them, thing is when I went to buy It it was white, also it has been white for 4 weeks now has gone blue very strange
