Bathroom Mixer Tap Not Working

Hi,

The mixer tap in the sink in my bathroom has stopped working.
Last week it was fine, then the hot water tap became stiff to turn and no water would come out. Then the other day the same thing has happened with the cold water side of the tap.

And ideas why this has happened?

the washer could of jammed in the seating, or the spindle could have broke.

taps the tops of the taps off and re-washer and re-greese, see how you get on, if the washer has come off make sure you get it out of the pipe first.

Hi, Thans for replying so soon!

Do you mean take the caps off the top of each handle on the tap (H & C)and look at the washer underneath there?

Sorry I'm not very good at this kind of thing!
