bathroom pull switch

Could you please advice me on how to replace my ceiling pull switch.
I have taken off the old switch but the wires are different, all I have is 2 red wires but my replacement plug says L1 L2 and Com L how do I connect.

Switches with 'com', 'L1' and 'L2' are two way switches but of course you can use them for one way.
The switch links 'com' to 'L1' and 'com' to 'L2' depending whether your switch is up or down.
One of your red wires will be 'live' and should go in the 'com ' terminal the other red should go in L1 or L2.
If you placed the wires in L1 and L2 then this is the only situation where the light would not function.
