Thanks to djbunny for answering my query on 13th June re. expansion tank.
The installers have been back and powerflushed the system properly this time!
However,I now have another problem. When I put the timer to hot water only I notice a little heat comes through in the bathroom rad. I`m wondering if this could be due to the motorized valve not doing its job properly or is it just dry heat from the boiler/cylinder travelling out through the pipes?
