Bathroom refit- pipe chased through breeze bock/party wall!

Hello
Just doing some research to ease my own mind and to ensure what I am been advised is correct :)

1. I plan on moving a shower from a stud wall to a wall constructed from breeze block. Is this type of wall ok to be chased out to enable the hiding of the hot and cold pipes for the shower?? I understand that copper reacts with cement/plaster so plastic would be better??

2. As the work is been done on a party wall (semi detatched) - is there any need to draw up paperwork agreement, or any other legal paperwork. I will be discussing with the neighbours regardless as its going to involve a fair bit of noise - but just wondering on the legal paperwork....?

Thanks :)

i prefer copper in walls easier to work with and i always place shower pipework in a conduit.

none of their business what you do in your house.
as for the shower make sure the breeze block is capable of taking the
depth of the shower mixer.
