Hi

Is there any reason why I can't use a monobloc single lever mixer tap designed for a bathroom basin (ceramic valve, requires 1 bar pressure to work well) in the kitchen? I ordered it and it didn't have a pop-up waste (doh!) so I don't want to use it for the basin. Is there a problem with the pressures it will have to operate on?

I have a mechanical clock programmer for the boiler which has a separate control for CH and HW but the same clock. Is it a DIY job to change it for a digital/electronic one? Anything I should look out for?

Thanks

Can't see why the tap won't work may be a little bit short though.

Is it a Randall 4033 clock you are changing?....I don't know how good a DIYer you are but the new programmer should have wiring connection tables for how to wire your old clock to your new one.

Thanks,

Tap is big for basin so should be OK if some quirk in fittings isn't a problem.

Clock prog'mer is a 'Landis & Gyr'. I'm not a great DIYer but can usually fix stuff and understand instructions (when I bother to read them!).
