Hello all,

I spotted a leak coming from the base of our bathroom sink tap and it looks like there's an issue with the connection between the tap and one of the supply hoses, but I can't manage to remove the hose that is leaking. It's a little difficult to get at as the hose screws in a few centimetres into the tap.

I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with a similar style tap and how you managed to get the supply hose out? I've attached a couple of pics for details.

Ideally, I'd like to avoid having to buy a brand new tap!

Cheers

Usually unscrew out by hand ,but if that doesn't work grab the ferrule With long nosed pliers.

Late response on this - Went to the local DIY shop and they informed me that the flexes were fixed in the factory; impossible to remove. Had to buy a new tap. Scandalous.

Thanks in any case!
