Bathroom Toilet space ?

Hi,
Looking to re-arrage our bathroom with the toilet and the wash basin both up against the same 1500mm long wall.
Is this ok as have heard there are some regulations regarding minmum spacings ?

There are these ready made combinations only 1200mm wide so assume thats ok, though wonder if its more about user space or aerial contamination from the loo ?

Nope, absolutely fine, you can even have a basin on top of the toilet back.

You just need to think of maintenance. Whatever you fit will one day go wrong so design so that everything is maintainable..

For instance, how awkward/difficult will it be to change that toilet seat if it breaks or comes loose? (No easy access to the underneath).
What if your washbasin drain develops a leak, (how do you access it without having to remove half the unit/toilet get at something low down inside?)
