Hi all have come accross this boiler. Wont light so i was called out to it. It lit perfect for ten times.
Then flame lights for about one to two seconds, then tries to relight three more times then lock out.
Iv Checked the electrodes flame rectification probe and while they are defo worn iv seen worse. All electric connections look good.

Any help would go down very well

how can you check a flame retification just by looking at it. doesnt work like that.

The probes dont look to bad but the flame only stays lit for one to two seconds so its hard to get a reading in this time

is it still sparking when flame established.

Thiis boiler is the same as a Promax. Do a search on those, could be any number of faults. Ignition pcb is a common fault as is electrode, combustion seals, condense trap etc......

ye had better take this into the combustion chamber boys.

Done all i could with this boiler and all pointed to PCB. Replaced it and worked perfect. Expensive repair
