I've had the same one for 2 years and is great, it is instant. The only thing that annoys me is that after you turn off the tap it is still going for a bit longer, so if it is installed in your kitchen the fan humming (not that noisy) may be annoying. I have the instant preheat setting to min so it doesn't keep heating water for the built in storage tank. Mine is installed approx 3-4 meters from kitchen&bathroom taps, so I get instant hot water anyway. Since it is 12 litre per minute it gives you great power shower and plenty of hot water for the bath. If your hot water pipework is not plastic and if you can change it, then that helps getting hot water even quicker. Its a very good boiler altogether (at least in my experience).
Very popular boiler. Fitted loads now over past 18 months and it is a very reliable boiler only faults had is 3 condensate traps broke . Water delivery is better than more expensive worcesters and if they do go wrong parts are a lot cheaper and easier to fit than most other makes thus saving on labour time.. Usual fault is after 4 years diaphragm goes which costs about fiver and takes 15mins to fit.
I have been quoted £1300 for the removal of existing boiler including vertical flue and reinstatement of new boiler including new vertical flue. The flue cost is not included in this price but the installation is.
